Program Director-Thomas P. Colletti, MPAS, PA-C

Campbell University wishes to announce the appointment of Thomas (Tom) P. Colletti as Director of the developing Physician Assistant Program at Campbell University. Mr. Colletti will work directly with Dr. Ronald W. Maddox, Professor and Dean of the Campbell University School of Pharmacy in this position.
Mr. Colletti is a graduate of the United States Public Health Service Physician Assistant Program in New York City. He earned his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska and earned a BS in Biology from the City College of New York.
Mr. Colletti is an active educator, clinician and researcher. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board. Additionally, he is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society, American Academy of Physician Assistants, the North Carolina Association of Physician Assistants, the Physician Assistant Education Association, and Pi Alpha, the National Honor Society for Physician Assistants.
Most recently, Mr. Colletti was the Physician Assistant (PA) in General Orthopedics at Triangle Orthopedics and Hand Surgery based in Durham, NC. Tom has practiced Pediatrics, Student Health Emergency Medicine, and Urgent Care. Before his tenure at Triangle Orthopedics, he served from 2001–2006 as the Academic Coordinator for the Duke University Physician Assistant Program.
Academic Coordinator-David Coniglio, MPA, PA-C
Mr. Coniglio holds an undergraduate degree in English from the University of the South, Sewanee, TN, and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Tennessee. He received his Physician Assistant training at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is currently completing a Doctor of Education degree from North Carolina State University. Mr. Coniglio has practiced Medical Oncology for the care of patients with breast cancer for the past 23 years; and most recently was an Academic Coordinator at the Duke PA program.
Mr. Coniglio has a special interest in Evidence-based Medicine (EBM); medical writing; and several aspects of research in adult education and medical education.
Medical Director-Christopher Stewart, M.D.
Dr. Stewart attended the University of North Carolina and received his undergraduate degree in biology. He was awarded his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. He served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. A life-long resident of Buies Creek, he is deeply involved with local medical practice and management. He served as Chief of Staff at Good Hope Hospital in Erwin, NC; and President of the Harnett County Medical Society. Dr. Stewart practices internal medicine in Coats, NC.
