Learning Styles

At the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, we realize that each one of our students learn in a different and unique way.  We have also found that it is beneficial if students discover what learning style works best for them.  Knowing your particular learning study can help you develop more effective ways of listening in class, not taking, and studying.

Below we have provided many helpful links that can help you determine your learning style.  You never know, you may learn something about yourself that you did not already know!

  • Visit VARK and take the learning styles assessment.  After completing the assessment, you will receive the results for your individual “Learning Style.”
  • Take the Learning Styles Inventory to give you some insight into how your brain prefers to gather and process experiences and information.
  • The Multiple Intelligences concepts and VAK (or VARK or VACT) learning styles models offer relatively simple and accessible methods to understand and explain people's preferred ways to learn and develop.
